“Craftsmanship is not dead”

Met Ed Torres, the owner of EV Blinds based on a recommendation from a trusted source. We were interested in plantation shutters for a number of rooms and a blackout shade for the media room to reduce glare. Ed personally came out as the installation involved a bay window as well as French doors with sidelights. Ed was personable and very professional as he walked my wife and I through the process and it’s challenges. He provided us with a detailed estimate and gave us a sense of confidence that he was the right person for the job. We were not disappointed. The job he personally did with his crew exceeded our expectations. Craftsmanship is not dead as proved by he, Christian, and the rest of his crew. They took care throughout the installation for the house as well as our furnishings and the resulting installation is magnificent. Me and my husband needed blinds for our newly built house in Cape Coral. We always do our research and read reviews before making a decision. Entire experience was first rate! Business owner, Ed, came to our home promptly and helped us to assess what blinds would best suit our needs. We had a challenging installation involving our favorite “aquarium glass” bow kitchen window that had no divisions between the 3 panes of room height glass. Blinds were custom cut and installed for us the same week. The installers were amazing, too! It was clear that they knew exactly what to do and how to customize their product for the exact application. They worked efficiently, cleaned up as they went, and showed us how to operate the new blinds. Would most highly recommend!!!

They’ve been in business somewhere near 20 years because they’re prompt, courteous and reliable and provide impressive quality for a good value. You’re going to find loyal, careful employees and a family man who is proud of his work! Ed is a meticulous craftsman. You can see the joy he finds in satisfying his customers. He 100% does what he says he’ll do and in the time frame he says he can do it in. We shopped around and EV Blinds makes and sells higher quality, locally-made, all-wood plantation shutters at a better price than any fast, or big name, “budget” retailer. We had 4 windows, a double front door and a sliding glass door done. Could not be happier with his work. Highly recommend!!

Ed was so courteous when he came to measure for whole house blinds. We feel we were given a great deal! The blinds were ordered on Friday afternoon and installed today (the following Tuesday). Super fast!!! He makes the blinds himself and did a great job. Christian installed them and was very kind and courteous. Christian explained how to properly use the blinds for long wear. Great installation!!! We are very pleased. We were told to call them if we have any questions or problems in the future.
